NBEMS GPAT Result 2026: Check Cut-off, Scorecard & Rank

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has released the GPAT 2026 result on 7 April 2026. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now check the official result notice on the NBEMS website. The result has been published in PDF format, and in that file candidates can see the roll numbers and All India Ranks of qualified students. The scorecard has not been made available on the same day. It will come separately through the login portal. So students who want to know their detailed score will have to wait for the scorecard release date.

Important Update in GPAT 2026 Result

This year the result came with one big update. After the expert review of objections, 7 questions were removed from final evaluation because they were found incorrect or doubtful. Because of that, those marks were given to every candidate who appeared in the exam. This means even if a student did not attempt those questions, still those marks were added. Because of this decision, the final result changed slightly for many candidates. Rank position, cut-off and score got affected. So students should understand that the final result has been made only after this correction.

How to Check GPAT 2026 Result?

Candidates can check the result by following these steps.

2. Go to the GPAT section or notice board
3. Click on the result link for GPAT 2026
4. The PDF will open on the screen
5. Search your roll number in the file
6. Check your rank and qualification status
7. Save the PDF for future use

Students can use the search option to find their roll number quickly in the result file.

GPAT 2026 Scorecard Date

The result PDF has already been released, but the individual scorecard will be available later. As per the official update, candidates can download their scorecard from 15 April 2026. The scorecard will show detailed marks and other score-related information. Students should download it on time because it will not remain available forever. The authority has said that the scorecard can be downloaded only for a limited period.

GPAT 2026 Cut Off

The official cut-off has also been released along with the result. GPAT cut-off is different for different categories, and candidates have to meet the required level to be counted as qualified. For General and EWS category, the rule is based on the 50th percentile. For OBC, SC, ST and PwBD categories, the rule is based on the 45th percentile. But there is one more thing here. Only the top 5,362 candidates have finally qualified this year.

• Document Verification: At the time of admission, students may have to show original documents. These can include education certificates, category certificate, disability certificate and other needed papers.
