- Tap the GOAPS Portal link or open Candidate Response URL tab
- Enter Enrollment ID, Password, and captcha
- After login, go to Answer Key / Response Sheet area
- Download the Master Question Paper and Answer Key PDF
- Save the PDF properly (print is optional)
How to Check Your Expected Marks Using the Key
- Open your response sheet and the official answer key
- Compare each answer carefully with the master paper
- Use the marking rule given:
- Each correct answer gives 1 mark or 2 marks as per the question
- MSQ and NAT: no negative marking
- MCQ: negative marking is applicable as 1/3 or 2/3 as per the question
- Add marks for correct answers and reduce marks only where MCQ negative marking applies
- The final total is your estimated raw score
GATE 2026 Challenge Window: Raise Objections
If you find any mistake in the official answer key, you can challenge it on GOAPS. The challenge window is open only for a short time, so candidates must do it within the given timeline.
- Login to GOAPS using Enrollment ID and Password
- Open Challenge Answer Key section
- Select the question(s) you want to challenge
- Give a proper reason and upload supporting proof
- Pay the fee online (per question)
- Submit the challenge form
After all valid challenges are checked, the final key is prepared.
